I really liked this post. You explain this topic very well. Your turf management company should suggest a professional assistance and advice towards the improvement and care of your athletic fields. Grounds staff can be enormously creative and some have a talent of taking a bleak playing field and turning it into your very own "field of dreams." These results inspire your sports teams, but more importantly, instill a community delight and restore morale.

You may in fact have a fungus. Without more specific information, it is impossible to give you the proper information. In general if you have a fungus, find out what type it is then apply the proper fungicide. After 2 weeks apply another round. In the mean time make sure that you are watering deeply, but infrequently. The fungus will thrive in moist conditions, the turf will thrive with deep infrequent irrigation. I hope this helps. If not, email us @ info@princetonscapes.com we will try to help you more specifically.

Our lawn, which was extremely robust and healthy, has been completely destroyed by what I think is fungus. what is the proper treatment? can this be prevented in the future? and what, if anything, can be done to bring back the lawn?
